How We Calculate Soffit Cost
We calculate the total soffit area by multiplying your eave perimeter by the overhang width (converted from inches to feet). Material costs are applied per square foot based on your chosen material type (aluminum, vinyl, or wood). Labor includes installation, trim/J-channel work, and removal of old soffit. If fascia is included, we add per-linear-foot material and labor costs for fascia board replacement.
